Breezy Ride Cardigan
Guinevere's slinky-drapey cardigan is inset with dotted chiffon at the shoulders that finishes in a floppy, scarf-like bow. A perfect addition to spring bike outings and leisurely Sunday drives.



This sweater has been receiving a lot of blog love this week. I took a small in this top and felt that it ran TTS. While I don't think this item is as super special as other Anthro pieces, the bow does give it a nice touch and I have a feeling that this sweater will become a staple in my wardrobe.

Blue Book Blouse

My local Anthro did not have a size 6 in either color of this top. I tried on the size 4 instead. While I was able to button it, I would prefer to get this top in a size 6 just so that i have a little room to move around. I liked this top, but I have a very similar Odille green top from last summer that I prefer. I would consider this top if it goes on sale.

Button Bin Cardigan
Which ones are merely illusions and which ones actually fasten Girls from Savoy's fine-gauge sweater? Our lips are buttoned.



I adored this sweater when it first popped up on Anthro's site. I could picture wearing it with a yellow top underneath and thought that it would be great for spring/summer. However, I was deeply disappointed in this top in real life. I felt like the material was thin and overall appeared very cheap looking for Anthro. I did not feel that it measured up to Anthro's standards on tops. I would not purchase this cardigan, even on sale.

Field Game Cardigan

I tried this top on previously in a small and it just did not work. However, I tried this on again this weekend in a medium and the fit was much better. I love the lace detail. I'm not a huge fan of stripes, but with the lace detail and fun gold buttons, I caved and tookt his one home with me. I plan on wearing it on my Med cruise in April since I feel that it has a nautical feel to it.

Blooming Lattice Cardigan

I just knew this cardigan would be mine when I saw it online. However, I'm not too sure about it after trying it on. The cardigan is cropped and I seem to have an overload of blue in my closet this season....not intentionally! I took a medium in this and I could have probably even gone up to a large. I would recommend sizing up in this. While I love the lattice design, I'm not sure that I can justify paying full price on this and I really wish that it were longer. I might consider it on sale. Maybe.

Curlytop Cardigan

This is a sweater that I did not expect to like at all. When I saw it on the rack, I really loved it. I then tried it on. It looked like it was made small so I went up to a medium. I loved the sweater at first. Then I wasn't as sure about it. Part of me loves it and the other thinks that there is too much going on. I think I'm leaning towards loving it. However, the main thing preventing me from purchasing this right now is that I feel that this is a fall/winter piece. Wishlisted for now.

March Reviews and Purchases

I sat through Atlanta traffic to make my way to Anthro for my monthly visit. Overall, I had a disappointing visit. I tried on so many things that I disliked so much that I didn't even bother taking pictures of them. In addition, many of the items I wanted to try on were not yet at my store. However, I still found a few things that I liked and they are listed below.

Mystery Dress


I have not seen this dress online yet and I do not recall the maker. This was a cute dress in light, spring colors. It was made of silk (or similar material) and it felt great. My size was not available so the one I have on is a bit big. I don't have anywhere to wear a dress like this, but it was definitely a fun dress that has a retro vibe.

Blooms Adrift Top

I usually wear a size small or medium. This top ran a little big so I went with the small. I'm on the fence with this one and not yet sure if I like it or not.

Gleaming Shoots Blouse

This pretty top (with lovely silver accents) fits true to size. It is somewhat sheer and I will need to find a longer white tee to wear underneath it. I found a great silver headband at Anthro to go with this. Both the top and the headband came home with me. :)

Vala Jacket
Nipped by ruched sides and a wide grosgrain tieback, Ett Twa's shapely ditsy-floral jacket is lightweight and perfectly ladylike.





This jacket has a lady-like yet country feel to it with the floral pattern. It is cinched at the waist which is a nice touch. I found that the jacket ran somewhat large. I am usually a size 6 but I took the size 4 in this. This jacket has now been added to my closet.

Saturation Point Heels
Sketchy stripes of cerulean, royal blue and grass green are positively bursting from these crisp canvas pumps.



I sort of liked these shoes when they were full price. I liked them even more when they were marked down to $49.95. They are now $19.95 and that just can't be beat. I think these shoes will be a lot of fun for the summer and I'm looking forward to wearing them!
